Remuera
Remuera, an inner city suburb of Auckland is known for its lush greenery. It is also extremely popular. The suburb was also the best-seller in New Zealand in 2017.
In Remuera, the property market is booming over the past few years. This is due in part to record lending by banks to house buyers. This has caused property values to soar. Also, more expatriates are returning to the region.

John Campbell, Government Architect was responsible for the design of the Mount Eden Post Office. Mount Eden Estate houses the former Mayor’s home and tennis court. Mount Eden War Memorial Hall is located within the estate.
Another landmark in the area is the Quaker Meeting House. This Arts and Crafts building can also be found here. The property is currently part-leased to commercial tenants.
Eden Terrace is Auckland’s oldest suburb. It was made a district by the Auckland Council in 1875. It was used as a focal point for light industry and housing for early settlers. The CBD is also close by the area.

Some of Epsom’s most highly-regarded private schools can be found in the city. There are two of them: St Cuthbert’s Girls’ School and the Auckland Grammar School. The Diocesan, a private school in the vicinity, is also available. It also hosts the Epsom Girl’s Grammar School. It can be found at the northernmost end of Manukau Road.
Epsom is also close to many great amenities like parks and sports courts. It is also located close to Cornwall Park. This park has wide open spaces and is available for public use. It includes a BBQ area and an Information Centre.

Grey Lynn also has a Countdown Supermarket. This is an uncommon find in Auckland’s inner cities suburbs. The Woolworths Company owns the supermarket which sits on 1.1 acres of land. It also has 168 additional car parking spots.
Grey Lynn is also home the Grey Lynn Volunteer Fire Station, which can be found at the end Williamson Avenue. The station looks similar to other American fire stations. The wooden spire originally housed a fire-bell.
Parnell
Parnell is a vibrant suburb on the fringe of Auckland’s CBD. This area has a remarkable history. Parnell is known as the oldest suburb and oldest in New Zealand. It is also one among the most wealthy. It boasts a large selection of restaurants, shops, and cafes.
Parnell’s history has been shaped by the contrasts of old and modern. Parnell houses a mixture old grand mansions and bay villas from the 1920s. The suburb is also noted for its tree-lined streets.
